I want to vent before login out

I miss my dad dearly.

I always hear as people grow older they get colder and meaner, i kind of find it the opposite for myself. I am sad i lost my father, i wish i could treat him better but sadly I don't have that chance anymore.

i treat my mom different from how i used to treat her when i was younger..
I see myself loving people more and my heart actually becomes softer as i grow older.
I cry more 😅
I feel more.
I probably am growing into a childs body lol

I understand this completely. I believe the average person does become softer. I've become more empathetic due to life experiences. Younger people simply can't empathize.

As far as experienced, older people get even older... From my experience, they grew softer (both my grandfathers).

Not to be rude in the least... You're still very young (if your age is correct). The brain fully develops in the mid to late 20's. Frankly, I don't think it's fair to say that you've changed. Maybe you're becoming you... As sad as that may due to the circumstances, you're probably an empathetic and quality human being. I hope you don't have to experience anymore pain in order to understand this.

Treat your mom with as much love as you can imagine. She'll probably forgive you for anything, but it's important that you try.

I'm so sorry about your father. I'm sure he loves you more than you will ever understand... even if he's no longer here.
