Short of breath

Even simply walking down the driveway knocked the wind out of me. I guess it started yesterday when my sister tried to take me grocery shopping.
I’m using the nebulizer like my nurse recommended, but I’m not sure it’ll help yet. I have to be consistent with it.
I thought I could sweep and mop the house today, but that was a bit much even with the steroids. I stood in the kitchen for a little while trying to catch a breath. The steroids aren’t the energy boost they were, and I sleep on and off more lately. But I don’t sleep well at night anymore anyway, and take more pain pills to stop the feeling of my lungs slicing when I try to breathe at night. I’m pretty sure those pills are why my stomach hurts all the time now.
Lol I sleep sitting up now. That helps somewhat.
Sitting in front of the heater helps calm the coughing fits sometimes, but also helps me nap.

Altogether, though, aside from some bad moments, I feel calmer. I wake constantly throughout the night, and I feel like it’s going to be okay. Read my Bible, give thanks, read other books, watch some shows, sit and think, catch up on church, revel in the quiet, scroll TikTok, check in on my mobile game team, write, check SW, perfect my grocery list, whatever. Just whatever. Go back to sleep.

Are you able to be given some morphine?

Hate the thought of you in so much pain
@BabyLonia There’s some for the nebulizer that I’m supposed to use for the worst of the coughing fits. Can’t say whether it helps much yet, but it’s there in case.

@Colonelmustardseed You might want to see about getting a pacemaker.
@Diotrephes Nah. I already know what’s going on. This story is a continuation of other stories where I talk about my condition already.

I hope you haven't had any fainting spells. One second you are feeling great and the next second you are on the ground without a clue as to what happened.
