Has anyone ever had correction surgery for a deviated septum?

On a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain or discomfort after?

I have a deviated septum, not bad but at times annoying when sleeping on one side. I’m not sure if I want the surgery to fix it.

Not only have I had the surgery, but I've assisted on the surgery. It was a longtime ago, but I would say the pain was pretty low, but the nose packing is annoying AF! Get the surgery!
