How much has your Essence/Spirit changed in the past 10 years?

A melancholy thread has weaved its way through and dimmed all the dreamy hope. There is more intention, more faith in self, more ownership, and fewer expectations. A greater understanding of what is truly meaningful to me and less willingness to waste time on what is not. There is the sadness and freedom of acceptance, and the strings have fallen away from anything I give. I’m just here now, worried and lonely and beautifully grateful.
