@cherokeepatti Thrown from a horse, and a piece of rebar was sticking up out of the ground. It knicked my pancreas and pushed my liver out of the way. Lots of antibiotics for that one

@TexChik OMG that’s horrible. I knew a man who worked at the university. He was building his home and up on a ladder and fell on a rebar sticking up. It went through his side and came out front narrowly missing his organs. He had a young man working with him who was standing near him & shocked. The man had to tell this guy to get help.

@TexChik If I remember right this guy helped pull him off of the rebar and helped him to the truck and then drove him to the hospital. The man had to tell him to drive over the speed limit, it was an emergency. His name was Dub, someone made a crude joke and nicknamed him “Dub-Kebob.”

@cherokeepatti I landed on a 4" Stub and I popped up right off of it. Thinking I had broken a rib or something
