@originnone No, I'm on Long Island.

@DragonFruit Syracuse has an AQI of 444 right now, which is actually down from 460 about an hour ago. That's about twice what it is in NYC at the moment. This is completely unprecedented for upstate NY.

@windinhishair Wow! I used to work a few weeks a year in Oswego. I was once there for 3 weeks. Every day was either below zero or had several inches of snow.

@originnone That's upstate New York for you! My daughter lived in Fulton for a time and one week they had 74 inches of snow. All the cars disappeared, though you could see a few antennas sticking up.

@windinhishair BUT....there's a place in Rochester that has the best ribs I've ever tasted....and it's not even close. I think there's one in Syracuse too....

@windinhishair That's the one! I'd heard a lot about them and had to see for myself. They are truly the best. I ate a lot of haddock up there too.

@originnone Dinosaur is a great place and the BBQ compares very well with what you can get in the South. It is the only place upstate I can get good brisket.
