Should I call for an ambulance?

I know I shouldn't be asking questions on here if I thought I was in danger, I was looking online but I accident bite through a cherry pit and swallowed half of it but was able to spit some out. I know cherry pit contains cyanides and I'm a little worried. Should I call for an ambulance? Or is there something else I can do? I'm in the bathroom having a small panic attack. Plus this happened 20 minutes ago. I'm hoping someone can give me a helpful answer if possible

You’ll be fine

Obviously, after 21 hours, you're probably aware you're totally ok, but the best thing to do when you're worried about some type of toxicity or poison is to call poison control and get actually expert info for free. They also would ask the correct follow-up questions, like your age, weight, possible health risk factors that make you more sensitive to cyanides, and one thing no one here asked, what kind of cherry.

Nothing is going to happen.
Like someone said, you would have to eat a lot of them at once.

If they were THAT dangerous even in small quantities, I do not think grocery stores would have sold them all these years.

Sometimes the mere thought of something horrible happening will send us into a panic but in cases like this you are probably fine.

@geoam1 It did crush in my mouth and I did swallow half of it. The article helped a little but I still have questions

I doubt it will hurt you. There shouldn't be enough in a pit to cause any harm. I mean that is what a liver is for anyway.
You'll be alright, cherry pits are alright, you'd have to do that with about 200 them.
