I hate hate hate hate having sleep apnea.

Every day is just another day of painfully staying awake and being expected to be an adult while I suffer.

When you go for your next sleep test, ask them to use the ramp system on the mask. It starts it off at half the pressure and slowly builds up. You can also try just the nasal mask if the full face mask is too much but you might need to use a strap to keep your jaw closed to use that one properly.

@Silentpleasure I'll ask about those things. Last time, my tech also mentioned something called co-PAP or something like that where it sort of breathed with me. Do you know anything about that?

@SinlessOnslaught You mean a Bipap. A Cpap is continuous positive airway pressure where a bipap is biphasic positive airway pressure. Cpap doesn't lessen the pressure for you to breath out where a Bipap does. Bipap is more comfortable for most people.

@Silentpleasure Yeah that's it! How do you know all this?

Truth be told, the only way cure sleep apnea is weight loss. Unless you have an abnormal airway....then surgery could be required.

@Silentpleasure My doctor told me I have an abnormal airway.

I can't even treat it though because the mask gives me a panic attack.
