I have a sore throat that has not gotten any better in 2 days

** problem resolved**
Everytime I swallow it feels like sandpaper.
The best I've felt in 2 days is when I ate hot noodles.

I've had the chills, body aches, fatigue.
I tested negative for COVID.

My doctor won't be in Monday.

Could it be strep throat?
I've been taking pics of it daily. It's really red at the back but I do not see any white spots.

I do not have a cough

TLDR :What can I do to help my throat after 2 days of suffering?

An old and effective cure for symptoms such as this is: in a large mug, a shot of whiskey (usually Scotch), a large spoon of honey (manuka honey is best if you have it, but any honey), the juice of a whole lemon, and fill the mug with boiling water. Stir well. Wash down two paracetamol with the drink and head to bed.
