That's high if that is your normal resting heart rate, meaning that you were just resting and not doing any heavy activity or exercise. I also have a high heart rate, referred to as tachycardia. Mine is due to a medical condition. You can only know what's going on, if you seek real medical attention. Yours is very high, and is way outside the parameters of a normal heart rate. You need to see a doctor, and let them determine what's going on. Many situations are only temporary or can be easily treated.

Dehydration is more the culprit. Some others would be anxiety, fever, anemia, thyroid issues, and hypoxia.

@Courtney22 Then keep up with antibiotics and fluid. Heart rate could be related to your infection.
