Home doesn’t feel like home
But the park does. I forgot how much I loved my park. It’s where I spent the majority of my days outside of work, especially after my hysterectomy. Recovering, walking, learning to love running. I played Zombies Run, starting with the couch-to-5k. And throughout the pandemic, I would walk it and see so many more animals than usual. When I lived in my car, it’s where I’d go to pass the time till time to find a place to sleep. It’s where God met me in a desperate meditation. I did a lot of walking meditation. I love it here.
