says 617 FIFA players died of SCD within an hour of playing over a 5 year period = 123 per year (2014-2018).

@JimboSaturn I can't report on what folks are saying in Europe, but I've heard folks here in the US trading anecdotes (not stats) about sudden athlete deaths. So I tried to look up stats and this is fairly close to an apples to apples comparison.
