I read the sadest article the other day!

This married couple had problems with chronic pain and there doctor had been shut down. Well they couldn't fine any doctor that would take them. So they committed suicide!

This is exactly why i want to study and practice natural medicine. To help people who others say they can't be helped. Like myself.

Let's be fair - a couple who kills themselves because there's no doctor in the immediate area do so because of underlying issues.

There are so many natural tools for pain management. Some are outright BS, most take patience and diligence, but we move people from opiods to non-medication alternatives all the times and it works. Partly because the methods are sound, partly because the person was relying too heavily of medication. Good luck in your pursuits.

This is why I approve of medical marijuana.
There's far less side effects and addiction possibility than with opioids.

@basilfawlty89 Absolutely true, but cannabis hasn't yet been proven except in a few studies to manage anything but neuropathic pain. And even then, it could never be as effective as opiod treatment.

That said, it has such promising potential and needs to be researched more robustly. And even if it just calms your mind, is that a bad thing?
