EXCERPTS from New England Journal of Medicine:
A two-dose regimen of the Novavax (NVX-CoV2373) Nuvaxovid vaccine administered to adult participants conferred 89.7% protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection and showed high efficacy against the B.1.1.7 variant.
Vaccine Efficacy in several pre-specified subgroups was generally consistent with the overall study population. Vaccine Efficacy in Adults aged 65 years or older was 88.9% and in adults with a comorbid medical condition was about 91%.
