Pain..the kind that won't leave.
Mine has came from holding onto the past or ideas that wouldn't materialize... But it hurts tho...if you're going through this I hope it soon passes.

I hope it passes for you, too. Letting go of the past is a grieving process and a very real one. We all tend to have innocent expectations, like if we're bold enough to want or expect it, it'll come true. But sometimes the lessons we really needed were in the not getting what we desired or needed.
No platitudes here; laying the past to rest is an arduous and sometimes heartbreaking process. But it can be laid to rest. Don't give up.
