So I discovered that borderline can be treated with a cocktail of meds

An antipsychotic, an anti-depressant, clonidine, and naltrexone.
This is the THICK SKIN cocktail.

So..... Why tf did the very expensive doctor that I went to not prescribe me this? I'm suffering. I'm so done with incompetent and expensive health care personels.
I want to go to a doctor who will try this cocktail on me. I am desperate to get better. But I know it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I'm no psychologist not psychiatrist, but what I know from people I know who have BPD the most effective treatment is DBT.

I'm not sure about medication. All I know about medication wise is for OCD and depression (which I have) and bipolar (which my brother has).

@basilfawlty89 yes but recent times have uncovered that meds can achieve a lot too. DBT is a long term journey. What about being able to function in society for the now? Meds can be an adjuvant to therapy.

@turningthekeys true, like I said I'm ignorant regarding pharmacological treatment for BPD. But yeah, long term, DBT is the option. Even with OCD, I take meds and it helps, but the real treatment is CBT.
