I've had contact lenses since I was 16 and a half - the youngest I could be to get them prescribed. I was very vain lol! Imagine my chagrin when, aged about 50, I had to start wearing reading glasses with them!

Yup! I have fatty deposits on my retinas thanks to my condition and it makes them too sensitive for contacts. Aaand I have an astigmatism and horrible farsightedness, so glasses are essential. 😅

Yes. I've worn them for 20 years and now i prefer my face with glasses. They are face decoration

I do constantly, because I have had eye problems since elementary school. Now they are worn for reading and being short sighted

The pandemic killed any routine I had with my contacts. It's just so much easier to slip on a pair of glasses.

Yep. I hate mine too. I’ve tried contacts, but varifocal ones don’t really work for me. It seems like they only let me see near or far - not both.
