👍 Been taking turmeric supplement gummies to help with shoulder muscles inflammation. Delightfully surprised

I get a little apprehensive of supplements because a lot of it is snake oil, but after a week of taking the tumruc I swear I do feel less achy. That’s pretty cool because the g@bapentin is only for nerve pain, I need an alternative to popping ibuprofen like skittles.

We’ll see how I feel in a few more weeks about it, but for now I’m delightfully surprised. It’s not ‘all gone’, but it’s substantially less disruptive, which is what I need

Yeah, I usually shy away from the supplements for that reason, but my stepmother strongly recommended them after living with chronic pain for years. She’s a rather discerning woman who I would not describe at all as someone drawn to snake oil remedies or optimism haha. i’m still holding off judgment though. For all I know, this could’ve just been a lucky week and in the near future I’ll be curled into a ball 😅@MrBrownstone

@WhateverWorks Pharmaceutical companies are out for profits. You don’t hear about natural remedies for that reason.

I don’t know about that. Granted, it’s definitely regional influenced, but where I live practically everyone loves the natural remedies market along with cannabis as the cure-all. I personally am not anti-holistic or anti-pharmaceutical. I will say that I’ve had less luck with natural remedies than the western medicine options to treat issues. That said, I live a generally healthy life. I’m sure a lot of people would benefit from major lifestyle changes and improved nutrition/sleep/exercises etc. things Western medicine doesn’t prioritize enough. @MrBrownstone
