Im trying a calorie deficit

Please be kind.

Here's what I've eaten the past 4 days. Is it too much? Too little?

I work out legs 3-4 days a week. Can't do anything upper body because of a surgery I had 3 weeks ago.

this will not work in your favor.
calorie restriction, makes your body[i] hoard calories[/i], and slows your metabolism , slowing the loss of fat.
Instead? eat more but BURN IT. you you burn more than you eat? the weight will go.
not some giant exercise, just walk, to start just till you feel tired, then go back home.
put some books n a backpack.
remeber if you burn more than you take in? you will get lighter
if you try this with very little to eat? you will not do well

@Dshhh There's very sound science to this theory. Starvation triggers a crisis mode in the body and it will hold onto every single calorie it can.

Burn more calories than you take in a eat a varied diet. Period. This is a sustainable plan, builds muscle and provides nutrition. You'd be surprised how you can knock off body systems and levels you don't even realize you have.

And don't worry about itemizing food; this is a purely American obsession. Eat good foods and they'll keep you alive and healthy.
