How does one treat a cold?

I feel like I am coming down with the flu or cold. Love to know the most effective ways to cure a cold quickly

If it’s a cold ( viral) it’ll most likely run its course, but to lessen symptoms get rest, plenty of fluids, chicken soup ( not a joke) and monitor yourself keeping an eye on your temperature if you think you are running one. If so perhaps an ibuprofen or two. And if your throat is bothering you, pop a throat lozenge preferably that has been kept in the freezer.

@soar2newhighs Yes, I can't remember exactly why, but it's been shown that chicken soup really does help the symptoms of a cold.
