I'd rather be doing triage and taking care of old people

Pregnancy tests are my least favorite appointments. Not only does pregnancy absolutely disgust me on every possible level but there's very few appointments for prenatal care and most of our clients seem to get pregnant accidentally.

I'm a good actress. When they're happy I'm like, "oh congratulations you're just GLOWING!" I'll even act like I care about ultrasound pictures. If I acted on my feelings I'd actively encourage abortions but as it is I am a professional and have an open discussion of all the pregnancy options with the client.

My favorite appointments are for depo or helping people get plan B or other birth control. I love preventing babies.

I also like old people a lot. Particularly old women. Not always easy clients. Heaps of old people suffered their whole lives with untreated mental health problems or at the least have survived some really terrifying stuff.
