A quote i relate to

"Solitude is for me a fount of healing which makes my life worth living. Talking is often a torment for me and i need many days of silence to recover from the futility of words"

-C.G Jung

Unfortunately C.G Jung never did so for years much less decades at a time.

If he had, he never would have been heard from, ever.

It's our connections to others that makes us known. And he was extremely well known.
I think that the quote explains how he handled speaking and socializing with people. It drained his energy and he needed time to recover. And that he could express himself better by writing than he could by speaking.

Solitude is literally my drug of choice & I so relate to this quote. People are exhausting...

@MoonlightLullaby I am the same
I love the words of Carl Jung.
...hmmm...but is solitude, for you, also the place where you obsess about things (I'm thinking about your post about your [then-]bf liking a gal at work)...?

I'm sorry that explaining how you feel, etc., is burdensome to you. I hope you become comfortable with some friends.
That is so me.

Solitude during meditation will bring synchronicity, serendipity and result in a solipsistic Samadhi of deep contentment and spiritual gratefulness: Nirvana
