what, do you mean diabetes?

@drtt943 Diet and exercise. Above anything, exercise. It'll bring your numbers down in a day. This is a tricky area to learn. Most people will tell you to limit your sugar intake with little understanding of which sugars that actually means. With pre-diabetes, your enemy is carbs. Carbs are a complex sugar that can elevate your blood sugars. So bread might not seem as bad an option as hard candy, but the bread is an assassin.
Do yourself a favor, get reliable information on diabetes or speak in-depth with your doctor. Understanding the disease now could prevent you from actually developing it later. Best of luck.
