I think this truth has been even more complicated by the fact that the line between opinion and factual information has been blurred to the point that some can't even see it there anymore.

I can't tell you how many conversations I have not in which the other person relies on only opinions purposefully but because they can't distinguish between Joe Rogan and a scientific research paper. The truth - as presented with hard data - is rarely open to interpretation. And even more rarely open to the interpretation of the masses.

True understanding, like empathy, comes only when we turn off our own minds and egos long enough to allow room for information to get in.
