So I would really like to stop wearing bras for my own personal comfort but....

I could also do without being over sexualized by men more than I already am. 😭 What's a happy medium?

I find these discussions quite odd. For one, when men say they prefer women dress more modestly, there's an uproar. DONT tell us what to wear and and and.

But when men look because what the heck else are they going to do being the human sexual creatures they are, then it is them over sexualizing women....🤔

@SW-User okay but like look for a minute but as long as you don't stare and make them feel uncomfortable honestly I think that men just assume when women aren't wearing a bra that they're doing it for attention when honestly bras are just super uncomfortable and expensive and we could go our whole lives without being restricted like that.

@Poetvann When you aren't wearing a bra you jiggle. That's the very thing that makes the penis tickle.

Even if I look for a second, how many other men are around you at any given time in public? How many seconds is that?👀

And im not even being a hypocrite about this. I used to wear shorts. At one point i only wore shorts and nothing else until it was pointed out to me thats its hypocritical of me to expect women to dress modestly yet im out showing my legs everywhere. It was a man that pointed this out to me. Now i myself am not shaped like God's gift to women but i listened. Non of that I wear what I want. I have not worn shorts out since 2011/12 the shortest I've worn since covered half my calves and even then, I can count on one hand the times I wore those out in public.

@SW-User listen though dude I live in Florida so I wear what makes me comfortable and I've kind of just accepted that most men are animals and sometimes I want to dress kind of sexy because it makes me feel good about myself and I don't mind compliments and a little bit of attention as long as they're not being super creepy about it there's a difference between looking and maybe complimenting and being really excessive and over the top. But who cares if you wear shorts wear them if you want wear them if they make you comfortable I think as a human race we should just stop letting everyone else dictate the way we dress and the way we live our lives. It is hard though that is how we were raised as a society.

@Poetvann I don't dress the way I do for anything other than that when I tell my wife to dress conservatively when we're out, I'm not a hypocrite doing so. I do so in spite of the harsh hot summer weather where I'm from.

I'm not in the habit of telling women how to dress that's a losing battle. And honestly I simply don't care. I just find the men are creeps argument a bit funny for looking at what's out there.

and I don't mind compliments and a little bit of attention

At least you're honest.

@SW-User honestly they are though. That's why I feel so much more comfortable around women and I'm more attracted to them because I feel like I can be around them and we can compliment each other without making each other feel in danger I don't feel like women should have to feel in danger or uncomfortable because the way that they dress. Also why do you feel like you have to tell your wife to dress conservatively? Is it a religious thing?

@Poetvann
Is it a religious thing?

I'm Christian and as one there's a manner in which I ought to conduct myself, so too my wife.

No one should feel uncomfortable or in danger for anything but that's not the world we live in. There are places we avoid because they are dangerous. You don't wave your phone around an area you know someone might run upon you and snatch it out of your hands. You insure your belongings and barricade your home just to feel safe and, it doesn't matter that your home is less pretty for it. All of that for "things" but protecting your body is bad somehow? I don't get it but like I said, I'm not here to tell you what to do.
