I went for my Covid booster shot today

I chatted a little with the nurse who did my intake, and I commented about how upbeat she was.

She explained that when she wasn't doing this, she works in the ICU, and the number of Covid deaths she has to deal with, week after week, really gets her depressed. So it really perks her up to see people coming forward to get vaccinated.

I can only imagine what it must be like to have her job these days. 🙁
