Stress warning signs and some advice

We all have stress, it's natural. Some of you understand that stress is a survival instinct and not designed to be long term (fight or flight in a nutshell). Countless things can stress us out, from the insignificant to life changing events. Feeling some effects for a few minutes is fine, that's just life. But if you have these issues constantly, seek help.

What you should look out for: Shaking hands, shaking voice, trouble breathing, severe sleep issues (sleep paralysis is a big one), loss of mental control (think about watching a movie, then blacking out without realizing but you were talking the whole time), extreme fatigue, blurred vision, lack of taste and smell, lots of tingling sensations.

What you should do: See a doctor, rest as much as you can, unplug from everything possible, stick to low stress things (no thrilling shows, nothing too exciting in general), if possible, take a vacation where you simply exist.

Understand that stress won't go away overnight. You can make many metaphors, but think of your stress like a pool. Resting often pokes a tiny hole in the bottom. It won't drain fast, and if more stresses pile on you, may never de-stress.
