Ladies, would you consider this a compliment?

If a guy you've been seeing compliments how you shave down there, when he sees it for the first time? The reason I ask, is because girls I've dated in the past, would actually ask me if I like how they shave down there, so I just started telling them how sexy it looks without them asking. Do you think that's weird? Lol They seem to appreciate it.

I personally think the whole fashion for wanting to look like a prepubescent - and the blokes hung up on it - is rather suspect. But my memory goes back further than a week or two ago 🤣

@ArtieKat Well, actually none of them shaved bare, which I prefer, but it's their decision. Do you tell girls what you prefer? Because I don't.

@ArtieKat funny though if you think about it. It really is the woman that want to. Some even for cleanliness reasons.

Same applies to men. It's why it's done on both sexes in the porn industry BTW.

And I go back a ways!
It was done even in the eighties for that reason.

I also heard it had to do with the evolution of the bikini. As they became more skimpy, girls started shaving more and liked the way it looked and felt. I'm probably not completely accurate but someone had told me that.

@DeWayfarer Most of the girls I know aren't fans of them. They'll wear them at times but they'll either wear a one piece or they'll wear a more conservative two piece but wear a robe type covering if they're not in the water.

@DeWayfarer lol I live in WI, we have a lot of lakes and I actually have a pool, so there are pool parties throughout the summer. Girls very rarely wear thongs, more along the lines of regular bikini brief type bottoms, even on the beaches.

@WizardofOz if you go to corpus Christi in Texas. Especially during spring break. You'll still find thongs everywhere.

The swim wear is "usually" a warm weather thing. In Wisconsin you have unpredictable weather.

@DeWayfarer Yes, our weather is definitely unpredictable. It's funny, we have beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan but the water is to damn cold to swim in!

Took a California girl to a lake in Wyoming. She had no idea how cold the water was. I had to pull her out. Yet she was wearing nothing.

@DeWayfarer OMG! That's funny. I have family from Arizona that came to visit, they didn't believe me when I told them how cold the water is. I told them, "why do you think there are 100 people here and only three are swimming"?
