I’ve heard Covid causes some hair loss. I think it happened to Alyssa Milano.

@swirlie Covid 19 is a fabrication generated by ChatGPT in a china server room

@SW-User I’ve never fully recovered from it. It’s been almost 3 years

I did, good old menopause. I started taking liquid collagen and when I wash my hair (which I dropped to 3 times/week) I really stimulate my hair follicles. Thankfully it’s come back.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@SW-User I started taking collagen again. My esthetician told me today exactly what you said about the collagen and stimulating the hair follicles. Thank you!
i thought you looked nice in that picture, and i think you can reverse it,,,,just like i can reverse my ever greying hair pic in same post by dying it if i chose to.

I noticed the same thing last year. So far it hasn't receded any further, so I just chalked it up to getting older.

I haven't done anything for it.

From what I've seen, you still have a lot of hair, though. Maybe your forehead just looks bigger depending on your hairstyle? I've seen young women who kinda look like they have a receding hairline when it's just their hair parted, without any bangs. Even some men who wear their hair long.

@Ducky yeah maybe I need a different hairstyle

@Jenny1234 If you change it up, I hope you’ll show us. 😊

Not a lady obviously. But my sister has suffered with this. She's tried new hairstyle with a fringe (bangs) now she gets extensions put in to help.
I’ve been told by friends that biotin oil/supplements help. I wish I could give you some of mine 🥺

I was born as a female and haven't started transitioning yet, so I hope it's ok that I answer.

My hair isn't receding, but it's gotten so thin on the top of my head I almost look bald. It's the main reason I started buzz cutting my hair.

Female baldness isn't a rare phenomena, but it's also not very common. My doc recommended taking a bunch of vitamin B to get the hair back. I haven't tried yet, but it's worth mentioning.

@SW-User thank you!

I have had an experience with this and it was fortunately only temporary. Iron deficiency and a hormonal imbalance caused by too many diagnostic injections of steroids in my spine. My system was imbalanced but once I got it back in balance things returned to normal. I wish you the best of luck. Get as many things checked as possible. Mine was identified through a blood panel.

@RunTheJulz seeing doctor in a couple of weeks. I’ll check it out. Thank you

You seem to have a lot of beautiful hair to me.

@Jenny1234 Get your thyroid checked?
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@JimboSaturn I see my dr next month. I’ll ask. I’m wondering if it’s menopause. I’m starting
Cheesecake · 61-69, M
@Jenny1234 sounds like it could be. Hope your doc is well informed. If not, get another opinion. Hopefully it'll come back with time, especially if you go the hrt route.
I guess it's common with again. Or maybe it is due tight pony tail.
