Should I trim my nostril hair to breathe better?

I've done septoplasty in the past to fix my breathing problems but it didn't fully help and I've been getting somewhat excess boogers ever since. Do you think trimming the hair inside my nostrils will help me breathe better? I have extreme difficulty breathing in my nose when I lie down, if the air is too stuffy or dry, and/or I'm in a poorly ventilated area. Otherwise, I can breathe fine with my nose when about a year before the surgery my nose suddenly felt like it was clogged all the time no matter what I did.
