Hair color

Why do people who are ginger dye their hair a different color, then pretend they are not red heads and make fun of others with ginger hair color?

This happened at my work place for a good 18 months, until the lady that was making the jokes, was caught at the gym, and found out to be a natural red-head! She could not talk her way out of that one.😳😳😩🤮

I've never really dyed my hair, but maybe a few times to hide the grey to see what I would look like a again.

But it was always my natural color of very brown to almost black depending on the season.

But to dye it another color outside my natural color seems like odd to me.

But I did always wanted to try what these young hip whippersnappers are doing today.

I'm thinking about trying them purple and blue hair dyes. That just looks like something fun to try

@HumanEarth Well you have the confidence not to hide it! I don't know why anyone would do that, they just wanted to feel like one of the gang and not be an outsider. That way they could pretend they didn't have red hair and make jokes at those that did!
