Do you think it’s possible to get my natural curl pattern back after years of damage?

No one ever taught me how to take care of curly hair, so I’m just learning. I inherited my hair texture from my mom, who got her hair texture from her dad. My maternal grandpa is Siberian and had thick curly hair. My grandma was a white Polish woman who had pin straight hair, and she never did my mom’s hair correctly. 😅 my mom had a bush because she would just dry brush my mom’s hair.

Anyway, so I grew up and all my mom ever did was wet my hair and brush it. But as I grew older and did my own hair I started straightening it, bleaching it, I used relaxer a few times so I wouldn’t have to straighten it, I dyed it all kinds of crazy colors because I was scene.

Now my hair I recently cut very short to get rid of the dyed parts. I’m going to let it grow out in my natural blonde. But my hair texture hasn’t been the same since I was a kid. My hair is curly in some parts, waves in others, and the top layers are ALWAYS frizzy 😭

This is what I had y’all and I ruined it

And yes, it’s true. I’ve always had a sixhead, that’s why I have bangs.

I started dying my hair in 2008 btw, so it’s been over a decade.

I think you should first work on getting your smile back.
@NoThanksLeon I’m autistic… it’s not that I’m unhappy. I’m smiling on the inside 😅
