Ladies, Have You Ever Had a Bad Hair Experience?

Isn't it awful? I have to see someone to fix the mess my current hairdresser got me in. Second time and she conveniently just happens to be out of town.

My hair is short, so I generally want someone to "just reshape it and even out the sides". Why is that so difficult? Why do hairdressers want to experiment on me?
