What's bad for hair

I read a hair health article that said, "stay away from shampoos containing coal tar and formaldehyde".

I have never once seen those in a shampoo, and I look at ingredients every time.

The exact line was,

"First, get rid of hair products that are filled with chemical-based ingredients such as sulfate, paraben, denatured alcohols, synthetic fragrances, formaldehyde, coal tar, silicones, phthalates etc."

Most is right....but formaldehyde is used to preserve dead people. Never have I seen it in skincare. And coal tar? Never in skin care.

Can't trust the media or articles or anything now. But trust ingredient lists.

And know what ingredients help what condition.

Most products are BS and marketing.

lol. coal tar is in shampoos for skin conditions. phthalates are found in regular cheap shampoos. formaldehyde is often found in conditioners. same with silicones. you must buy fancy brands or brands that specifically stay away from those. but i will agree it's still mostly BS and marketing nonetheless.
