Clip in extensions.

So I wear clips in everyday and take them out nightly. Never had a issues with my hair before but about a month ago I got a relaxer for the first time in 4 years. So I keep wearing the clips in but I noticed my hair is always tangled in the back by the time I take them out every night. Today I was running my hand through my hair and found a large bald spot. Will it grow back?
