What's your interesting habits?

Mine is... setting up a few alarms before I wake up.

So I need to wake up at 7:30 AM to go to work. I set up one at 5:00 AM and one at 6:30 AM. It makes me happy to know that I can still sleep more before I wake up... it sounds stupid but yeah... I do it...

Like Fungirlmmm, I like my back to the wall when eating at a restaurant if possible.

I never step on the "crack" when stepping into an elevator. I always step over it like it was an obstacle

I have to sleep on the side of the bed that will allow me to face outward when sleeping on my left shoulder.

I have a window unit AC on nearly year round. I must have a cold room to sleep in .

@TexChik I definitely agree on cold room. So I put the AC to 74 and also turn on the fan on top of my bed.

@SensualRomantic my bedroom is 62 degrees. My hubby complained and I told him if he froze to death I would enjoy his popsicle. 😂. He has gotten used to my oddities

I have several.

1) Never sit with my back to a door.
2) i have to set 2 alarms and my phone in case one doesn’t go off.
3)When i setup reminders my calendar has to warn me the day before, one hour before, and 10 minutes before.
4) I always eat the veggies on my plate before meat.
5) My bed has to have military corners but one side tucked out so i can put my foot out.


There are many more quirks

@Fungirlmmm 4) if you have fries and burger on your plate, would you eat fries first?

@SensualRomantic Yes. I would then remove the bread from the burger and eat it.
1) I can't sleep with my closet door open.
2) I don't sit with my back to a door.
3) I only buy two bananas at a time, and they must be connected.
4) I sleep with about 12 pillows, of various sizes, on my bed.
5) When I call someone, if they don't answer after 3 rings I hang up.
6) I love bread & butter pickles. Everyone else in my family hates them.
7) I use diluted Betadine to clean my hooha [tmi]
8) I throw away leftovers after 3 days.
9 I only go to my mailbox once a week. It's mostly junk mail anyway.

I'll stop there.
I have 2 alarms before intended time— one is an hour before and the second 30mins before.

1hr before: to wake up my mind
2nd alarm 30min before: to stretch in bed and do yoga poses on the bed… 🤭

Waking up is a long process for me.
I never learned to just “jump out of bed”

@CookieCrumbs LOL. Actually at 7:30, I set my alarm to 7:40... I can get ready in 10 minutes and get to work in 10 minutes.
Here’s my list
1. I eat dessert first.
2. I shower at night and in the morning. It doesn’t matter if it’s winter.
3. I still use highlighters for my textbooks or my work notebooks to cross out to-do’s (I still use a Filofax).
4. Ice cubes on any drink. Don’t ask me to explain.
