of sugar withdrawals for me. I made the mistake of drinking Mike's Hard Lemonade, one a day, for a week. Even though I knew it had sugar in it, I had no idea that each bottle had almost 8 tsp of sugar.😱
Anyway, I have been off sugar ,and all sweeteners for years, but I thought it would be ok to have one of these wonderfully awesome drinks a day, until..... I started to feel just terrible. It took me a couple of days to figure out that this was because I was back on the sugar.
So, once more, I get to go through sugar withdrawals. 🙄Today, I am feeling a bit off, and very emotional. For this reason, I am probably going to be a little quieter on here today. The good part is that this should all be over in less than a week. I hope.😐
You'll get back on track friend. I hope you feel better soon. Eating a banana helps. It's got that little bit of sweetness but it's good for you and it might help you get through it. I think oranges are a bit more sugary, so I don't eat too many of those would you find them satiating if I am hungry before I go to bed but I try not to do that. Drink a lot of water so you can get the sweetness out of your system and walk. Watch something to get your mind off of coming down off the sugar. 🫂
I feel ya! I am on the tail end of a sugar binder! I'm giving myself today to enjoy a few more cookies and I'm getting back on the wagon. I completely caved for a week, but I'm dusting myself off, getting back on my exercise schedule and eating schedule. I'll be starting intermittent fasting again. We can be accountability buddies. Hugs girlfriend. You got this! We got this! Woohoo!! 😘🌸
I am going to revisit this post. I am currently in the first few days of starting a sugar/fats/salt free diet (as much free-from as I can muster) so I shall need to watch the video (and to read the other comments).
I quit smoking Feb 8, 2005 (what would've been my mother's 100th birthday. I quit drinking July 31 of last year (hoping this one in particular works out) and now this diet alteration (this may prove more difficult to stick with than the other two).
