is there something your spouse/partner, friend, sibling, or whoever does that annoys you....

but you're too afraid to tell them to stop doing, because it might hurt their feelings?

I tell my bff in Denver over the phone all the time she needs to stop smoking crack and get into rehab, so they can help her finalize her application to get disability for her seizure disorder
@NativePortlander1970 keep on it...she will eventually listen to you and do it...just as my dad kept harping on me to quit my cigarette addiction...those 2 addictions are not all that different...addiction is addiction.
@beermeplease Crack isn't a normal addiction, it's one of the most powerful, your first ever hit, never trying it before that, can instantly addict you, no other narcotic does that, ever.
@NativePortlander1970 yeah you're right. i would never be tempted to try it. i like my booze and weed from time to time but that's a different matter. i've done lsd (and absolutely loved it) but that was many years ago...personally i don't think it's addictive but i could be wrong. i've been offered cocaine a few times but i always refused it...i'm glad i did.
@beermeplease My oldest brother and quite a few of my paternal sided relatives were into cocaine, they all got so bad they have contests to see who could snort the grossest things, including spider webs and dust from grimy surfaces, a few cousins had heart seuzures and almost died in their 20's and 30's, one was so hyped up he ended up in prison for curb stomping a guy outside a bar during a fight, not like in the movie American X with Edward Norton, just stomping on the guy against a curb as he was curled up bloodied up.
@NativePortlander1970 saw that movie a couple of times so i know what you're saying (great movie) i'm glad you had enough sense to steer clear of that path
@beermeplease Drugs scared the shit out of me, as well as alcohol, while growing up, I didn't get into weed until I was almost 21 1/2, my first real drink on my 21st birthday, excwpt for a half a shot of peppermint schnaaps in my hot cocoa in winter.
@NativePortlander1970 that's good of you...as i get older i curbed my drinking...loved it back in the day but one has to learn when to tone it down. i like to relax with cannabis from time to time...i'll continue to do so until i die in one form or another
@beermeplease I miss weed, I cannot imbibe both because I live in a prohibition state, and I have firearms in a prohibition state, and live in government low in come housing, if I get caught with even residue in a hand pipe I'd be facing a minimum of 25 years.
@NativePortlander1970 consider moving. i know it may be a tall order for you but that's bs "land of the free" ? well not in your state... nobody should have to do time for a natural product

@beermeplease I wish I had the money to get back to Portland.
