How much is 'too much' information to share online?

I share the basics, the things that hurt or have hurt me in past I find it a little hard to talk about.

I would like to hear more from those who have been catfished or lied too by others on social sites.

Obviously, there are levels of different sharing that you do with different people. Some people who are closer friends, you can share a little more with. I would say almost never give any information that could lead someone right to your door or to your immediate area. That would have to be a really special friend to know that kind of information and like you discussed the other day your phone number is another closely guarded item. Obviously never ever ever share bank account information or Social Security number or any kind of identifying number in that regard that could tie them the financial information. Same thing with birthdates - keep that stuff to the very very limited individuals.
