I believe you were right about EP selling information, but SW seems to be sincere about wanting to offer a platform for people to connect.

@Pleswe: I understand that. So you're saying they will go online, capture ALL the posts someone had made on EP, determine their 'friends' and conversations, reformat them individually and then deliver them to an SW user?
Nah.
I don't see a company that doesn't even have an "About" page taking those steps.

@Ynotisay: no, I'm not saying that because that never happened. Accounts, posts, friendships and conversions have not been ported from EP. Only groups were copied as far as I know and they were all listed in a public sitemap on EP, so quite easy for anyone to gather without any special access.
