It is. It is usef mostly to clearify that you won't to further explanation or you are shy about the issue.
Ex: Well, we haven't met yet but I find you quite beautiful my lady 😶

It might as well be used as an emphasizer on strange situations or unwanted events.

Ex: Then he tried to hit me 😶
