Gift Ideas for my security guard after an unsettling experience I had today.

I need suggestions for a gift for our security guard.

*****
Edited: thank you to everyone who commented and gave me their wonderful ideas for a thank you gift. I spoke to the lovely security guard this morning and thanked him personally for yesterday . He didn’t think he did anything special, but I told him that to me it meant so much to have his assistance and just to have him there. I gave him a thank you card with a $25 gift certificate for a bunch of different local restaurants. He didn’t want to accept it, but I insisted.

Today I was the last person to leave the office. I had only been in the office alone for about 10 minutes when I went out to reception to lock the doors from inside. There was a man I've never seen before sitting in one of the small boardrooms. I asked him if he had an appointment and he said no. I asked if he was here to deliver something and he said no. I told him he had to leave now and I walked to the doors and held it open (standing outside in the foyer of the building) but he wouldn't come. I said loudly you need to leave now and he said 'why?' and I said we are closing and you have no business being here. He still wouldn't come. I went down the hall to get the security guard and he came and got the guy to leave. He came back and told me he'd seen him earlier on second floor visiting the somali community office.

Well my nerves were shot and I locked up and security walked me to my car.

I'd like to get him a small token of my appreciation for helping me today. I'm not sure what I'd have done if he hadn't been there tbh. Called 911 and been put on hold as usual?

Gift suggestions please - he's a young man around 25.

I don't even know what group/forum to post this under

glad it all worked out for you...i once had to play "security guard" when an addict walked in the front office and asked to use the restroom. one of the girls was taken aback by it and he helped himself to it. right then i walked in the office from the warehouse and the girls were acting nervous. i asked them what's wrong....they told me to go to the restroom....when i opened the door i couldn't believe the stench and "misty smoke" in the air....he locked himself in one of the stalls and was smoking his meth or fentanyl or whatever....i'll never forget how toxic it smelled....then my boss came down and we told the guy to get the eff out....but the nerve of some of these addicts doing what they please
