If someone repeatedly responds with hearts to you, it usually means one simple thing:
Something about what you said reached them, and they want you to feel that they received it.

To enact social media as a platform upon which written attention is sought...you'll kinda misplace the deeper echo of simply being heard. 🤔

So it's not possible that someone likes a lot of things being said on a profile? I give you an example: I befriend someone and land on their profile page. I read through their posts and they speak to me .. pretty much every single one. I do the heart thing on each of that. It's purely my experience of reading those posts and my own personal reactions. Yes those reactions are for the poster of the message. But in reality it's a conversation between me and myself. I am aware of serial likers to posts. Sometimes it can genuinely just mean hi or an acknowledgement of the existence of the post or the individual.. somethung like saying "oh you wrote, I saw!!!" .. I am discounting these aerialists from my own analysis/assessment

I don’t heart everything. And depends, and there are other options. You have to do what is fitting, but I’m an over thinker.

I tend to heart a lot of things from some people because as I read through their posts i just respond positively and want them to know they've been heard and I like their thinking.

I don't heart everything,but when I do so I like it genuinely from the core of my heart.

I do it to let the person know I`ve read their post, sometimes I don`t really have anything to say.

So now I made a post about me being an Overthinker. Lol.

I prefer to just respond. ☺
