Have you made friendships on SW that you have continued offline?

Seems I upset someone by not accepting their offer of calling me offline and so they have blocked me.. Perhaps they were hurt or embarrassed, but from what I have gathered, I think the kind of friend they really want is a sounding board with the odd piece of advice thrown in that they will never readily accept.
