These are the people I've blocked so far...

I don't have an issue with blocking, I have an issue with this naming and shaming for no reason at all..
This is far worse than just blocking..

I don't see a point to this post. The only time I resorted to blocking, is when someone tries to hijack a post, and there is no other way to stop their childish behavior.

I try to block those who block me, or perverts... I never name them even when they initiate blocking...

Blocking should be To avoid being annoyed, and not for showing hate and shame.

@Soossie: Yes.. I agree.,. My problem with blocking is just that..
I tend to favour mute as an option unless someone is being insulting to me directly continuously..

@MightyAphrodite: That's pretty much what I do, but I don't think mute prevents them from posting to your thread.

We are here to discuss things even with those that disagree with us, otherwise we will be the dogmatic person who only wants to hear what favors him/her.

@Soossie: I only have a couple of simple rules: stick to the topic (don't take over the thread), and don't launch into sophomoric personal insults. It's not that difficult to follow these rules.

Not at all... But we can't help being blocked by those who are not willing to hold a progressive and fruitful discussion and dialogue even if at the end they agree to disagree.
