Do you always initiate or say hello to your SW friends in DM, or wait till they say it?

I am not sure what the rule is here.
Do you always initiate a conversation with your friends on here?If you see them online or do you just wait sometime for them to say hello?

I have several friends here that I’ve never even had a conversation with in DMs 🤷🏻‍♀. We vibe enough through posts and that’s that.

I do tend to check in on others when I notice a shift or their absence though, just in case they need the reminder that they’re not unsee or not appreciated in this sometimes fvcktarded place.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart That is very good and kind of you! As almost very few people DM to check in on someone if they see them online. I think not every high has to be transactional, does it?
