...add someone to my friends list? I have tried for 24hrs thinking it might be something to do with the server attacks, but still I get this message (Quote) The person concerned has no idea why and apparently has no control over it. Help anyone?

@class No they didn't - at least not intentionally - I asked them. Thanks for the suggestion though.

@FreddieUK the algorithm will restrict access but I don't know why.
We reserve the right to restrict contact between members as a protection measure, if there have been complaints or if our system's algorithms prevent that contact.

You can remove & block people from following you.. it’s a separate block from blocking people outright .. they must have removed you from following them previously

@YoMomma Thanks for the suggestion. As they are comparatively new, I don't think I've ever tried to follow them before. Our brief exchange of messages suggested no ill-will. However, I might suggest they check their settings. It's awkward, because I never want to follow unless welcome.
