1) I am very happily married.
2) I got my Master’s degree while recovering from several major surgeries and undergoing intensive treatment for a rare disease.
3) I adopted my brother’s kids when he went to prison and their mother was deemed unable to care for them.
4) I have a two year old daughter.
5) I enjoy hand weaving textiles and baskets.
6) I was a historical geographer before I had to resign due to health.
7) I have never lived somewhere that wasn’t in view of a body of water. I now live on one of the cleanest lakes in my state.
8) I have 7 cats, which I think qualifies me as a crazy cat lady.
