Why use a photo of a famous actor

or actress, combine it with your own face in AI, and pretend it's you...?

Be yourself. It's ok to not be a famous person, that person, or even that person's sex.

Be you.

It'll work out better.

@SomeMichGuy Why would anyone do it, I can see why a catfish would take a picture of someone else to hide their own identity but to try and meld yourself into another person's face just seems counterproductive and I can't imagine the results would be that great.

@SlippingAway It's pretty clear that someone took a photo of a well-known actor/actress, combined it with their own chin line, and are using it as "their" photo in an album.

But I agree about it not furthering actual connection. That's why I only use my real photo:
