What do you think of long winded questions/posts that go on and on?

If they have lots of complex sentences, vocabulary which taxes me, such as technical or political jargon, lots of sub clauses within the sentence, a circumlocutionary style which doesn't get to the point swiftly or beats about the bush with lots of obfuscation and irrelevant side issues (I was always taught to avoid those when I was at school, which obviously was a long time ago now, but in those days we were educated in getting to the point and summarising what you wanted to say swiftly) then it's likely, if not certain, that I will not read past the first couple of lines. In fact, this reply is exactly the kind of thing I wouldn't countenance.
